The Perfect Interface π [piː] Black Basic Math
The Perfect Interface Black Basic is made out of a very special paper from the tapa cloth tree.
This paper is traditionally made in Japan.
We further process it at our factory in Mülheim, Germany, bringing it to the right shape and properties to become the perfect interface.
The Perfect Interface π [piː] works perfectly with platters made out of metal, acrylic, wood, or any other material, including a combination of these.
Mount the Perfect Interface on your turntable, with the label side up.
The Perfect Interface Black Basic is intended for the use directly on the platter.
The Perfect Interface Black Basic also gives advantages with platters which normally are intended not to be used with a platter mat.
There are some turntables on the market, where a platter mat is an integrated part of the platter. In this case the Perfect Interface Black Basic gives you great advantages used on top of the original mat.
As the Perfect Interface Black Basic is very thin, for a first try you may use it without
readjusting the VTA.
When you are exchanging it against a mat which has been thicker, the VTA needs to be adjusted to the now much thinner mat.
As the Perfect Interface Black Basic is very thin and lightweight, it may happen that it sticks to the vinyl when you remove the vinyl from the platter.
To avoid this we have added some self-adhesive dots under the Perfect Interface, so that you may glue it to the platter.
Clean from dust with a soft brush. Do not use water.
The Perfect Interface Black Basic is manufactured completely out of natural substances.
This is the reason why each one will look different, however will perform perfectly.
If the Perfect Interface Black Basic should become wavy you may get it flat again using an iron.
Use a board with a hard surface, and put the Perfect Interface Black Basic between two sheets of paper. Gently iron it using the “silk” position of the iron.
And last, as the reason for using the Perfect Interface Black Basic:
Enjoy the music.
