The World Health Organization have classified the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus as an international health emergency, urging individuals and companies to take the highest precautions possible. In light of these urgent measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, MAG-LEV AUDIO has also taken steps to safeguard the health of its employees and customers.
All employees that are not essential for the production of MAG-LEV AUDIO will be working from home until further notice and we are working hard to implement any new requirements that could help curb the spread of the virus.
Because MAG-LEV AUDIO is a physical product that is handled by people during the production process, we’ve implemented additional measures to make sure the highest possible health standards are achieved.
Below you’ll find some basic information on the measures we are taking with the materials we receive and during the production process.
How we handle the materials
The materials from which MAG-LEV AUDIO products are made are delivered from various companies worldwide but more or less from slovenian companies.
The delivery of the materials usually takes a minimum of 3 days, and once delivered, the packages are put on hold for at least 24 hours. After that, the materials are put in our storage, where they remain for at least a week.
The latest researches show that the Coronavirus can survive up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard, and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel. The additional time the materials are put on hold between the delivery and actual use helps reduce the risk of spreading the virus further in the production process.
What precautions our production team takes
The entire production team wears protective masks and gloves and follows strict hygiene rules that are listed in every production room.
Hand washing and sanitizing are followed throughout the day and each employee has their temperature measured at the beginning of their shift. If the temperature measured would ever be above 36.9 °C (98.4 °F) they would immediately be sent home to self-isolate.
Changes to our production process
The production process of MAG-LEV AUDO owed down to allow the team to follow the precautions we put in place.
The spaces have been adjusted to allow a safety distance of 2 meters (6.5 feet) between each employee.
Delivery
Once the MAG-LEV AUDIO is packed and ready for shipping, the delivery is again put on hold for at least 24 to 48 hours.
In any exceptions, where the package would be sent out the same day, it would still be in transit for at least 3 to 4 days, reducing the risk of any surface contamination during delivery to you.
While MAG-LEV AUDIO has been taking the highest possible precautions we can, we would also urge you to check with the company delivering your package about the precautions they have implemented on their end.
